The Purdue University Northwest women’s golf concluded their fall season as the Pride competed at the Davenport Panther Fall Invitational. The team shot a 729 for the two-day event which landed them in third place.
The first one is always the most memorable. One day after celebrating his birthday, coach Mis Mrak was given a big present by his Calumet College of St. Joseph men's soccer team. Thanks to a shutout of the visiting Trojans of Trinity International, Mrak finally has his first win while helming a CCSJ team.

The Calumet College of St. Joseph women's volleyball team welcomed Moody Bible Institute to the Rittenmeyer Center once again this season, which would serve as the last game to lock things down before the CCAC Crossover this weekend. While there were bumps in the road, the Crimson Wave were still able to walk away with their third win of the season on Wednesday evening.
For the past two years, Indiana Elite FC player Evan Hudak, 9, been selected from an FC Barcelona Escola summer camp to go abroad. He was one of 12 players selected out of 33 US camps to represent Team USA against Japan, Dominican Republic, Barcelona, and Columbia.
Some wins don't feel like victories. Some losses don't feel like defeats. Tonight's ballgame between the Calumet College of St. Joseph women's volleyball team and the IU-Northwest Redhawks felt like the latter. The Wave fought extremely hard in each of the three sets played tonight, but just couldn't get over the hump as they loss two of the straight set losses in extra points.
The Purdue University Northwest (1-12, 0-5 GLIAC) volleyball team will play host to a pair of Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foes this weekend. The Pride will take on Ashland University (12-2, 5-0 GLIAC) Friday, Sept. 21 at 7 p.m. inside the Hammond campus Fitness and Recreation Center. The following afternoon they will welcome in Wayne State (8-5, 3-2 GLIAC) to the H.D. Kesling Gymnasium on the Westville campus.
